Insomniac Games, the studio behind the acclaimed Marvel’s Spider-Man series, is preparing to unleash another PlayStation exclusive that’s already generating buzz. Marvel’s Wolverine, slated for release in 2025, promises a brutal and emotional experience unlike any other superhero title on PS5.
A Darker Vision of Wolverine
Set in Madripoor, a crime-ridden city pulled straight from X-Men comics, the game leans heavily into Logan’s raw, conflicted persona. The neon-soaked streets, rain-slick alleys, and lawless energy of the city mirror Wolverine’s own inner turmoil. This isn’t a lighthearted superhero romp-this is a journey through rage, trauma, and survival.
Brutal Combat Meets Stealth
The combat in Marvel’s Wolverine is designed to be visceral and unforgiving. Logan doesn’t rely on flashy moves or polished choreography: his claws rip, tear, and deliver bone-crunching finishers. Every strike feels heavy, violent, and cinematic.
But it’s not all about raw aggression. Stealth gameplay is a key feature, allowing players to stalk enemies in the shadows before striking with lethal precision. Whether you choose to sneak or go loud, the game makes survival—not spectacle—the heart of every fight.
Unlike Spider-Man’s quippy, acrobatic heroics, Wolverine’s story dives into darker territory. Haunted by his violent past, Logan’s journey will challenge players with moral conflict and emotional weight. Insomniac’s storytelling style ensures that every decision, every wound, and every choice leaves a mark.
The slower pace of exploration and combat allows players to step into Logan’s shoes, not just as a superhero, but as a vulnerable character battling his own demons.
Next-Gen Power on PS5
As a PlayStation 5 exclusive, Marvel’s Wolverine is being built to showcase the console’s full capabilities. Expect lightning-fast load times, ray-traced environments, and immersive DualSense haptic feedback that makes every slash, strike, and raindrop feel tangible. From neon-lit streets to gritty close-quarters combat, this game is shaping up to be a true next-gen showcase.
Why It Stands Out
What makes Marvel’s Wolverine truly unique is its refusal to fit the traditional superhero mold. It doesn’t lean on humor, aerial acrobatics, or invincibility. Instead, it embraces vulnerability, brutality, and raw emotion, offering a fresh and mature perspective on Marvel’s iconic anti-hero.
There’s no official release date yet, but with Spider-Man 2 now in the rearview, Insomniac has shifted focus to Wolverine. Fans eager to stay updated can:

Agent 47, the world’s most infamous assassin, is making his way to the Switch 2 with Hitman: World of Assassination. The fans of this iconic stealth-action franchise can now get their hands on the Signature Edition of this epic collection, which is available for preorder right now ahead of its release on the Switch 2 which is set for June 5.
The Hitman: World of Assassination collection isn’t just another version of the game—it’s the complete Hitman experience, including all the content from the original 2016 Hitman game, its sequels Hitman 2 and Hitman 3, and a whole lot more. Whether you’re a long-time fan or a newcomer to the series, this is the best way to experience Agent 47’s lethal journey from start to finish.
Priced at $60, the Signature Edition includes not just the main game but also a couple of extra bonuses that will get you into the action even quicker. Preordering the game will grant you access to both the Quack Pack and Signature DLC packs, which feature some pretty fun Mario and Luigi-themed items and outfits for Agent 47. Think of it as a quirky twist to the usual stealthy and serious persona of the world’s most dangerous hitman.
So, what exactly do you get in this World of Assassination package?
It’s not just about the base campaigns.
This collection includes everything that was released alongside the original games: new locations, bonus missions, unique contracts, elusive targets, escalations, and even a special mode where you can face off against other players’ contracts. That’s a ton of content, and if you enjoy getting lost in a game with endless possibilities, Hitman will keep you busy for many, many hours.
One thing to note, though, is that this is a Game-Key Card release. This means that while you’ll get the physical cartridge for your Switch 2, you’ll still need to download the game to your console. It’s not like the old-school days where you could just pop in the cartridge and start playing—so keep that in mind when setting things up.
It is about how it blends stealth, strategy, and improvisation. In each mission, you play as Agent 47, sneaking through heavily guarded locations and using disguises, distractions, and various gadgets to eliminate your target. Whether you’re blending in with the crowd, setting up a clever trap, or going for a straight-up silent kill, each mission offers a ton of ways to approach the situation. The open-ended design of the game rewards creativity, and the variety of ways to solve each mission makes it extremely replayable. Plus, the thrill of stalking your target and planning the perfect assassination never gets old.
If you’re new to the Hitman games or haven’t played them in a while, the Switch 2 version is a great way to dive into this thrilling world. The World of Assassination collection is the definitive edition of the series, and now with the added bonus content, it’s an even better way to experience Agent 47’s journey across the globe.
P.s: Physical preorders are available at major retailers like Amazon and Walmart, and with June 5 right around the corner, it’s the perfect time to secure your copy and get ready to go on your next silent and stylish assassination spree.
